We had a fantastic week at Rose Cottage in the Peak District. the location was perfect, right next to Peak Cavern and close to beautiful walks and the town center. the cottage itself was charming and had a comfortable bed, excellent shower, and good Wi-Fi. We were pleasantly surprised to find a pint of milk and some cakes waiting for us. the view of the cavern from the cottage was like stepping back in time. Special thanks to Sam, the caretaker, who went above and beyond by picking us up when we got lost on arrival. It was a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay. Cons: Nothing, all excellent! 👍.

What a disappointment! The only good thing about this place was the location, which I must admit was convenient for exploring the area. And the bed, well, it was surprisingly comfortable. But that's where the positives end.
First of all, the lack of TV was not a charming feature, it was just annoying. Who wants to spend their holiday without some mindless entertainment?

I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful cottage in Castleton. It had so much character and charm, and the lack of a TV actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise. We had a great time playing games and connecting with each other. The WiFi was also excellent, so we could still watch our favorite shows on our phones or tablets if we wanted to. The location was perfect, with everything we needed within walking distance and plenty of lovely walks to explore. The peaceful and picturesque surroundings made it the ideal place to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. And the friendly people in the village made us feel right at home. We can't wait to come back!
The breakfast selection could have been improved with a little more variety.

The complimentary WiFi was a great distraction from the lack of TV or radio. And the private parking was a delightful guessing game of where to find the permit.
It was such a shame that the shower doubled as a mold museum.
